How do I book a houseboat?

Booking a houseboat is simple and convenient:

How far in advance should I book?

We recommend booking at least 15-30 days in advance, especially during peak season (October to February). However, we also accept last-minute bookings subject to availability. Early booking ensures better rates and your preferred houseboat choice.

Can I modify my booking dates?

Yes, you can modify your booking dates subject to availability. Please contact us at least 7 days before your scheduled check-in. One free modification is allowed up to 15 days before check-in. Additional modifications may incur a fee.

What is the minimum booking duration?

Our minimum booking duration varies by package:

  • Day cruise: 6-8 hours (typically 9 AM to 5 PM)
  • Overnight stay: 22 hours (12 PM check-in to 9 AM check-out)
  • Multi-day packages: Available for 2-7 days

We accept multiple payment methods for your convenience:

All payments are processed securely through encrypted payment gateways.

Do I need to pay the full amount upfront?

For standard bookings, we require 100% payment to confirm your reservation. For group bookings (5+ houseboats), we accept:

  • 50% advance payment at the time of booking
  • Remaining 50% at least 7 days before check-in
Are there any hidden charges?

No, we believe in transparent pricing. The price you see includes:

  • Houseboat rental
  • Crew services
  • Meals as per package
  • Basic amenities
  • Applicable taxes

Additional charges may apply only for extra services like special celebrations, additional meals, or extended hours.

Is WiFi available on the houseboat?

Selected premium houseboats offer WiFi connectivity. However, we recommend using mobile data as network coverage may vary in some backwater areas. We encourage guests to disconnect and enjoy the natural beauty and tranquility of the backwaters.

What is the maximum occupancy?

Occupancy depends on the houseboat type:

  • 1-bedroom houseboat: 2-4 guests
  • 2-bedroom houseboat: 4-6 guests
  • 3-bedroom houseboat: 6-8 guests
  • Luxury houseboats: Up to 10 guests

Extra mattresses can be arranged for children (charges may apply).

Cancellation & Refund

What is your cancellation policy?

Our cancellation charges are based on when you cancel:

  • 30+ days before: 10% cancellation charge (90% refund)
  • 15-29 days before: 25% cancellation charge (75% refund)
  • 8-14 days before: 50% cancellation charge (50% refund)
  • 3-7 days before: 75% cancellation charge (25% refund)
  • Less than 3 days or no-show: No refund
